I’m Alissa, a former college athlete with a drive to stay in shape and have fun. I get bored doing the same workout more than once per week, and I also don’t like to spend a lot of money. This site shows you how to get fit by mixing it up.
I started this blog to share my experiences living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, trying to stay in shape with a desk job. I get bored of gyms, fitness classes, running, and most any other workout after awhile, like a lot of people do. I overcame this by exploring all that Minneapolis and the Twin Cities has to offer for fitness and sports (which is a lot, and probably why we’re #1), and found a way to incorporate a great variety and fun into my quest to stay in shape and not hate it.
I try something new, or at least post a new workout or gym I’ve tried every month.
